MY FITNESS JOURNEY
In 1992 I began to develop a love and passion for health and fitness.
In 2005, I began facilitating weight loss groups and served as a co-instructor for several weight-loss classes. Even with my passion, like many of us, I found myself on a cycle of losing the weight and gaining it back. It was not until 2017 that I decided that enough was enough, I had to break the cycle of up and down weight loss. I’d been on the road with my husband for half a year and at the same time preparing for the launch of Transformations Health and Healing. It was then that I realized that I had not been consistently living what I'd taught others to do for so many years. I realized that I was at a low in my own physical health and well-being. I needed to make a shift in my lifestyle, not only for my health, but for my future. I needed to show up for myself and my health to best show up for my marriage and my business.
So, I started a weight loss journey with my husband by my side. By focusing on health holistically, I was able to lose 30 pounds, while my husband lost 40. No, we didn't crash diet to lose 30 pounds in 30 days. In fact, we didn’t 'diet' at all. We lost weight in a HEALTHY way with proper nutrition, mind transformation, regimented fitness, and lots of love, compassion and support.
I understand the battles of overcoming emotional eating and the cycle of yo-yo dieting. I understand it because I've been there! Through focus and, determination, I turned my challenges in triumphs and want to help you do the same.
